Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Release Specialist in Germantown, MD.Key Tasks:
Software Release Specialist will prepare release readiness documentation on the Confluence Wiki pages
Assist in conducting release readiness reviews on Zoom
Assist with documenting SSLK release details and schedules for development and deployment progress including schedule and scope changes through weekly reporting, wiki pages and Jira status comments
Assist in resolving risks and issues that impact release scope, schedule, and quality for all SSLK releases
As a Software Release Specialist, you will assist in conducting release readiness reviews and manage Go/No-Go decision in release meetings
Attend bi-weekly sync meetings to work with development and test engineers to understand the impacts of bugs to the planned release
Resolve and escalate problems, manage risk, assures value delivery, and drives program-level continuous improvement
Work with multiple teams, including product management, airline program, development, test, quality, and software configuration management
Use issue management tools (e.g., Jira, confluence, Monday.com, Atlassian, etc.) threats in accordance with Company policy
Quickly adapt to an ever-changing environment with shifting business priorities based upon Company's requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
