　　In Product Creation, we build, manage, and maintain the systems Nike uses to capture and deliver product creation instructions to our Factory Partners around the world. We are on a multi-year journey to modernize our aging systems, create digital platforms for our user community, and digitize the product creation processes to accelerate the product creation process at Nike while reducing cost, improving product quality, and moving to a more sustainable future.

　　WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

　　We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team in Bengaluru, India focused on building, managing, and growing our engineering team in this location. This role is an integral part of our Product Creation Leadership team as our focus is to grow our delivery capacity for cloud-based solutions from our India Office. As the team grows this role will grow from a focus on foundational tools and data engineering product teams to encompass management of digital product delivery teams.

　　The candidate needs to have excellent communication skills and be a solid coach/mentor. They need to have a strong background in full stack software engineering, Cloud engineering, and API development and have a DevOps mindset.

　　WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

　　If this is you, you'll be working with a blended team of Product Creation software engineers building and supporting critical applications used in Nike Product Creation processes. These engineers will be working on Global teams with the intent of increasing our ability to deliver continuous work across several product areas. There will be daily interactions between our Beaverton, USA location and Bengaluru, India depending on the work and engineer.

　　As our Engineering Manager of Product Creation, you will be an integral part of Nike's Product Creation Process. Our systems are used around the globe to create the Nike Apparel and Footwear that you see in stores and online. We are shifting to a platform-based app ecosystem and will need to grow our team in India to deliver on our multi-year digital transformation roadmap.

　　WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

　　You will be part of our Leadership team for Product Creation and will partner with Directors, Product Managers, Software Engineers and Architects. The last five years have seen a massive technology shift in our organization from a Customized Vendor Solutions focus to a Cloud Native Software Development focus. Our teams have continued to grow and adapt to new technologies and software delivery practices.

　　In our scope for Product Creation we work with Nike Business Leaders who are responsible for the Innovation, Design, and Development of Nike Product. Our systems are the backbone of building and collecting the data and images that make it to our manufacturing partners. Our work has an impact on everything downstream of us like: manufacturing, shipping, imports, sustainability, and sales.

　　WHAT YOU BRING

　　A minimum of 2+ years of management experience of high performing full stack software development engineering teams10+ years of experience in Software Development, Application Engineering, IT or a related fieldLeadership in a highly collaborative, multi-discipline development team environmentExperience working in a distributed/cloud-based environment (e.g. Amazon EC2, GCE, Rackspace, Azure etc.)Experience in delivering complex, cross-functional IT projects and/or programsStrong skills in building positive business partner relationshipsStrong networking skills and ability to work across multiple organizations to accomplish diverse goalsExperienced in pulling together diverse groups of individuals with different goals and facilitating productive discussions and decisionsImplement agile software processes, data-driven development, and data reliabilityExperience in designing and implementing highly scalable web applicationsExperience in microservice architecture, domain-driven design, and RESTful Services using JavaExperience working with globally distributed and diverse teamsExcellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teamsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant subject area, or equivalent experience.Experience in working in diverse full-stack technologies for backend like Node JS, Java, Python and front end technologies like React.

　　Experience with New Relic, Dynatrace, and SplunkExperience with data processing and storage frameworks like Hadoop or S3, Snowflake, Dynamo, etc...Experience with continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests. Continuous delivery experience preferred
