Job Summary
NetApp is developing a portfolio of cloud-led, data-centric storage platforms and services to help the world's leading organizations harness their data in new and interesting ways. NetApp is bringing its industry leading, enterprise class data storage technologies into the world's biggest public clouds and the simplicity & flexibility of cloud into customer data centers.
In support of that mission, we are rapidly growing our Keystone team. The Keystone Service team is responsible for cutting-edge technologies that enable NetApp's Pay as you go offering. Keystone Service helps customers manage data on prem or in the cloud and have invoices that are charged in a subscription manner.
Job Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead an exceptionally talented & growing engineering team responsible for driving product development and strategy. As part of the NetApp Keystone Engineering function, the overall focus of the team will be on delivering innovative technologies to address competitive market and customer requirements with enterprise-class product quality and time-to-market.
• Develop and drive the Keystone releases with high quality
• Lead a team of engineers responsible for all phases of software development life cycle.
• Develop and execute policies & processes that will positively affect immediate operations
• Establish operational objectives & plans for the team and delegate assignments
• Develop project plans and ensure that project goals are met
• Develop proposed budgets and ensure adherence once budget is approved
• Utilize previous technical and people management experience to actively lead complex projects requiring local & global collaboration
• Thorough understanding and experience with building orchestration on at least one of the major hyper-scaler cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
Education
• Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of experience & 2+ years of managing engineering teams.
• Prior experience managing Development, QA and Automation teams.
• Experience delivering automation strategy and infrastructure for born in the cloud applications.
• Experience leading teams working on On prem or AWS Platform.
