DAIS responsibility spans data center workloads from generative AI and deep learning to analytics, HPC, and graphics - all of which are intertwined in the future of computing.
DAIS Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) organization to drive our customer technical engagement. CSE drives design-in, onboarding and architecting solutions for their key care abouts from silicon all the way to systems. We engage with OxM and CSPs, and their customers, to build deep technical knowledge of their AI infrastructure and help drive customer success.
As part of Intel's CSE’s Competitive Response Engineering organization, we are seeking a graduate intern skilled in python/bash/C++ and GPGPU programming. Essential responsibilities for this position are:
Evaluate SPEC HPC applications on Intel's Data Center discrete GPUs and CPUs, identify bottlenecks and improve performance.
Develop a tool (internal automation) for collecting performance data and visualization.
Team up with Intel compiler and other tools teams to improve developer experience.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be pursuing a graduate degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant engineering discipline.
6+ months of non-trivial hands-on with dGPUs python programming.
6+ months of C++/python programming
Good understanding of CPU and GPU architectures
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous industry/intern experience
CUDA expertise
AI/ML experience

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
