As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC's Enterprise Technology, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Birmingham, AL or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.
In this role, you will be supporting Cyber Security Fraud across the PNC organization. Candidates must be proactive, assertive, and consistent in their learning. This is a fast paced and everchanging environment where individuals will be responsible for working on multiple initiatives across the organization.
Ideal candidates will have a a strong understanding of basic programming languages and some background in cyber security is preferred. Great opportunity for someone who likes keeping up with changing technologies and is devoted to constant personal and professional development.

Job Description
Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
Writes code, tests and deploys software.
Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
Maintains and debugs software.

System Development Life Cycle – Knowledge of project management techniques and the ability to plan, design, develop, test, implement and maintain system development life cycle segments and phases.
Technical Troubleshooting – Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques, and the ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical (hardware, software, application or operational) problems.
Technical Writing/Documentation – Knowledge of the technical language and writing approach, and the ability to write paper-based and on-line technical reference documentation (guidelines, standards, procedures, processes, applications, etc.)
Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
