  Microsoft Defender for Cloud is a cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP) designed to protect cloud-based applications running in all major cloud providers.

  Microsoft Defender for Cloud secures cloud applications from code-to-cloud by unifying development security operations (DevSecOps) at the code level, cloud security posture management (CSPM) to surface and prevent breaches and cloud workload protection platform (CWPP) to identify, alert and block real-time cyber-attacks worldwide.

  Responsibilities

  As a software engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on business-critical initiatives that directly shape the future of Microsoft Defender for Cloud business.

  Your responsibilities will span across many areas of the product as well as all layers of the cloud technology stack. You will drive architecture and software design and be responsible for developing and owning new capabilities from idea inception to agile production release cycles planning and execution.

  You will built on top of our advanced cloud security systems as well as broad range of ecosystem partners, the team is focusing on building security capabilities for a security product that will help our customers secure their assets across all clouds such as Azure, GCP & AWS and streamline their security recommendation, compliance insights & remediation processes to protect our customers cross clouds workload with various technologies!

  Being a cloud infrastructure provider, we’re in a unique position to leverage that infrastructure, technology, and data to add value not possible by anyone else.

  Qualifications

  You have at least 4 to 8 years of experience in software development

  B.Sc. in computer science

  Outstanding communication skills and collaboration capabilities

  Independent, with internal drive and self-motivated

  Self-learner with passion for technologies

  Experience in object-oriented languages such as Java/C#

  Experience with Azure/AWS/GCP or other cloud-based development, multi-threaded and high scale systems.
