　　Develops detailed system design specifications to serve as a guide for system/program developmentCodes, tests, debugs and documents complex programs, and enhances existing programs to ensure that data processing production systems continue to meet user requirementsDevelops and maintains application design, program specification documents, and proprietary web applicationsIdentifies and resolves system operating programs in order to provide continuous business operationsAssists in scheduling, determining manpower requirements, and estimating costs to project completion in order to meet user requirementsDesigns and develops web based content and software applicationsReports daily project status at team meetings and documents all code changes in issue tracking systemVerifies that all source code changes are associated with an existing task in issue tracking systemUpdates issue tracking system with all new requests from team members or stake holdersWorks with project lead and internal stakeholders to formulate sprint backlogConducts a wide range of tests and analyses to ensure hardware and/or software meets or exceeds standards and end-user requirementsIdentifies, recommends and implements changes to enhance effectiveness of Engineering, Implementation and Service strategiesSupports technical issues, rollouts, implementations and upgrades as neededSupervises the work of external engineering vendors, analyzing the testing performed by vendors, and provides feedback and expertise to techniciansParticipates in a collaborative team supporting current applications, as well as future technology platforms that touch every part of business, including actuarial, accounting/finance, agency management, annuity administration, compliance, and marketingFocuses on ensuring security is built into the software development life cycle, and the delivery of trusted products and services to the application teams

　　What your background should look like

　　Qualifications

　　Requires training in fields such as information systems computer sciences or similar vocations obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program; normally requires a minimum of five (5+) years directly related and progressively responsible experience designing, building, testing and deploying enterprise SAP solutionsThree (3) years of SAP application development (certification preferred) with in-depth experience in ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, BAPI, BADI's, RFC Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, IDOCs, BDC and ALV Programming

　　Experience extending existing S/4, and/or writing entirely new S/4 programs and functionsExperience designing and maintaining Core Data Services (CDS) views and ODATA servicesCDS tools using ABAP in Eclipse (ADT), and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP)Experience in SAP Fiori (on-premise and cloud) and web user interface technologies like SAPUI5, JavaScript and Web IDEExperience with ABAP on HANA development (nice to have: experience with version 1909)Experience in setting up Fiori best practices and making sure application architecture and design is following best practicesWork closely with customers, product owner, UX designers plus usability experts to present compelling user experience
