Lockheed Martin RMS in Moorestown, NJ is seeking a full-time Early Career Software Engineer for the In this role, you will developing Object Oriented C++ software in an Agile team environment for the Radar Computer Program (RCP)/ Radar Signal Processing (RCP) groups..
The Software Engineer will contribute to a wide variety of projects as our business needs evolve. The work may include requirement analysis, detailed design, application development, software testing, debugging, and sustainment.
The individual will be developing Object Oriented C++ software in an Agile team environment with domain experts from Hardware, Software, Subsystems and Systems Engineering to understand requirements, establish architecture/design, implement sound solutions, develop unit tests, and support integration and sustainment activities.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Candidate must be able to obtain & maintain a Secret security clearance (Interim Prior to Start).
- Knowledge of object-oriented C++ programming
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar STEM field
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge and/ or desire to work with Software Modeling (UML) and architecture.
- Knowledge and/ or desire to work with Code Optimization and real time SW development.
- Knowledge and/ or desire to work with Automated Test tools and Techniques, Static Code Analysis tools.
- Knowledge and/ or desire to work with Agile Principles and Scrum Methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team based environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
