As a Software Engineer a typical day might include the following:
Lead and actively participate in product design, development, introduction, and/or support activities crossing two or more technical disciplines.
Serve as technical lead on complex projects.
Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of interactions between technical disciplines within specific product lines.
Ensure projects meet cost, schedule, and quality performance objectives as necessary.
Mentor and develop professional staff. May supervise as necessary.
Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
This job might be for you if:
You have a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science of equivalent
You have 2+ years combined experience/knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Embedded systems firmware development including: Real - time firmware design, C and assembly languages, object-oriented design, object-oriented languages (C++, C#, Delphi, Java) embedded Linux Systems development including: C, C++, Python.
You have strong system-level product knowledge .
You have experience in cross-functional product development teams .
You have the ability to lead complex projects and produce successful products

Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
