Job Description:
Are you a motivated and experienced Software Engineer interested in Build and Automation technologies. Do you get excited about making sure there is a regular and reliable flow of game builds?
Come design and implement new ways to improve and streamline our automation, impacting hundreds of engineers and content creators across the country. Work with us, and together we will build something exceptional.
This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is either Albany, NY, Irvine, CA or Austin, TX
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for a rich automation infrastructure covering areas such as build generation, performance, stability, verification, deployment, etc.Help improve test coverage through the design and implementation of automated testing processesBe heavily involved in maintaining an army of agents consisting of various platforms and capabilitiesWork side by side with QA, feature developers, design, and production to identify and mitigate risk areasProvide support to the entire Diablo 4 team around build creation and test results
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of engineering experience in a production environmentProficiency in either C++ or C#Passion for automation, software validation and large-scale performance and stress testingExpertise developing or maintaining Continuous Integration (CI) software, such as JenkinsAbility to communicate with developers of all disciplines and technical skillsExperience working in a collaborative environment and handling multiple projects
PLUSES
A degree in computer science, or a related fieldWorking knowledge of additional languages like Groovy, Powershell, Python or JavaExpertise in Windows and Linux environmentsStrong debugging and troubleshooting skillsPrevious experience shipping game titles or other softwareExperience integrating version control systemsWorked with video game console automation beforeExperience with SQL databases

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $77,500.00 - $143,376.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role's range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
