　　The Boeing Company is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Aurora, CO, Chantilly, VA, Fairfax, VA or Mountain View, CA.

　　We're seeking a highly talented, motivated, and creative software developer to engineer new solutions and support existing capabilities of an agile software program for the national intelligence community. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain a modern system deployment to the cloud environment with a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).

　　Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced level software engineers.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Analyzing high level customer requirements and deriving lower level functional requirementsSoftware development tasks including detailed software design, coding, and unit/integration/functional/system testing of customer desired features/user storiesBriefing software designs and demonstrating software release functionality to customer/collaborators/end usersDevelop and sustain new and existing applications; as well as fix and resolve various software issuesContribute to the creation of new distributed components and interactions that align with the future system architecture. The existing multi-tiered system is developed on a cloud infrastructure with several consumer-facing web applicationsSupport the ongoing lifecycle maintenance of the DevOps tool chain and support the software quality efforts of our Boeing product deliveries to our customersOccasional business travel and after-hours support may be required

　　This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

　　This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or other technical degreeFoundational knowledge of object-oriented design and software patterns (1+ years)

　　Desired Qualifications:

　　Foundational knowledge of object-oriented design and software patterns (1+ years)Proven experience in Java (1+ years)Knowledge of Git or other DVCSExperience with one or more of the following: HTML 5, CSS 3, Javascript, Firebug and JS frameworks (REACT, jQuery, jQuery UI, Open Layers, etc.), Spring Framework, Hibernate, RDBMS, MongoDB, XML, SOAP, REST, WSDL/Web Service protocolsExperience using dependency management (Ivy, Maven, Gradle)Experience developing and maintaining SOAP, RMI, REST APIs and interfacesExperience using cloud based infrastructure (AWS)Experience using automation server (Jenkins)Experience/knowledge of the GEOINT domainFamiliarity with practices such as test-driven development (TDD), agile software development, continuous integration, and dependency management is preferred.

　　Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

　　Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

　　Pay Range Summary:

　　Level 2/Associate: $85,000 - 123.050

　　Level 3/Experienced: $104,550 - 151,800
