We are looking for a Software Developer
You’ll make a difference by:
As part of our BW / HANA Core Development Team you will have the technical responsibility for design, development, and optimization of complex data models and planning applications based on BW4HANA in the business area of Siemens Mobility global commercial project planning.
Design and Development of technical solutions to implement future requirements in line with the business strategy.
You have the full responsibility for design and development of individual Business Intelligence applications based on BW4HANA and Snowflake (dbt).
You understand the requirements from our worldwide business stakeholders and create innovative solutions upon central SAP modules such as FI, CO, PS, MM, QM.
Design, code, test, debug, document and support all types of data flows, views and procedures consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver maximum business value.
You provide operative support of the application by handling incidents and supervising data loading processes.

Experience as SQL Developer/Analytical Reporting
The cornerstone of your professional success is a degree in IT, informatics, or business informatics.
2-4 years of experience in Open SQL development.
Good experience in developing data models, functions and transformations including SQL.
Optimize database performance, analyze queries, develop security protocols, and resolve problems.
Experience in creating and maintaining views, stored procedures, and other DB objects.
In-depth understanding of database fundamentals, including relational database design, multidimensional database design.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for design, creation, and testing of programs.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to look after a variety of collaborators and end users.
Be able to communicate optimally with delivery team on issues, new requirements.
Demonstrable ability to optimally drive projects to completion.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in dbt and Snowflake.
Good knowledge in SAP ABAP, ABAP Objects.
Overall knowledge of related SAP modules (FI, CO, PS, MM, QM)
Good understanding in Dataware housing principles like ETL and query optimization techniques.
Experience in new cloud technologies.
Experience in BI frontend tools (Qlik, PowerBI, etc.).
Background of Native HANA or other DBs.
