Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for cloud, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
Leads a specialized area that may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in software development management
5+ years of experience in developing large-scale distributed services / applications
Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, React, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3
Knowledge of cloud computing networking technologies
Terraform, Git, NoSQL databases, relational databases knowledge
Experience developing automated test suites
Experience with Jira, Confluence, BitBucket
Knowledge of Scrum Agile Methodologies
Responsibilities:

· Own a high scale, distributed cloud service
· Provide leadership, direction and strategy for a team of senior engineers
· Manage and deliver on a large portfolio of key OCI initiatives with a special emphasis on Developer Platform
· Develop a prioritized roadmap of products, features and engineering asks
· Drive the delivery of roadmap commitments on time with high quality
· Work closely with a variety of stakeholders (other OCI teams, product management) to ensure cross-organizational dependencies are managed effectively
· Provide regular updates to executive management

US: Hiring Range: from $84,700 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
