Position Overview
Autodesk is looking for a experienced Engineering Manager to join the Autodesk in Pune, India.
We are looking for someone communicator with a balance of technical knowledge and business. As an ideal candidate, you have led teams developing scalable cloud services. You know how to nurture talent, develop/advocate best practices, foster, and provide guidance and mentoring to high-performing teams to provide high-quality solutions to their customers. You will be part of and to help evolve developing the engineering discipline in an Agile environment and to contribute to an organization committed to continuous improvement. You will report to Manager, we support hybrid work environment and location is based on Pune.
Responsibilities
Accountable for business outcomes for the teams and engineering excellenceCoach team members on how their work aligns with organizational goalsInspire, motivate, and coach team members to achieve maximum productivity, creativity, and efficiencyLead developers to develop their careers and to achieve individual successUp-skill developers to meet organizational needs and individual career goalsRecruit and nurture best talents to develop teamsCoordinate with other teams, on engineering best practices and dependencies and outcomesDevelop Autodesk culture values in the teamsEnhance engineering efficiency by observing the team, identifying opportunities, and influencing the improvementProvide technical guidance, mentorship to the teammatesFind the right approach when faced with uncertainties and support teams in navigating changesHelp teams to understand the importance of customer-centricity and build customer empathy
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience in the industry involving developing cloud/server applications and desktop applications5+ years of experience in leading development teams, or other similar leadership roles (managing team members from Software Engineers to Principal Engineers to Architects)Must have fundamentals in technology with Java, Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, Amazon web servicesGood in OOPS and design conceptsExperience hiring important talent and setting up teams for successAbility to state complex subjects simply for a variety of audiencesExperience and well-versed in leading in an Agile development environment. Certification in Agile Methodologies or related trainingExperience with web technology stack, cloud computing, and cloud database technologies as an advantageBachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline from reputed engineering college
