Key Qualifications
Bachelor's degree* or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and two years of work experience in the job offered or a related occupation. *Employer will accept 3-year or 4-year bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent.
1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Swift, Objective-C, Java,or JavaScript
Object-Oriented Programming Practices
Agile development methodologies
Data structures and algorithms
Cross-platform software design
Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Research, design, scope, develop, implement and debug cross-platform spreadsheet software. Review software source code to identify defects and performance issues. Analyze software performance problems and implement optimizations. Analyze diagnostic reports and reconstruct failure scenarios to identify causes. Work with Apple's Software Engineering teams on mobile, desktop and web platforms to combine cutting edge software engineering techniques with OS technologies. Program and develop highly scalable and memory efficient data structures and algorithms. Design and implement performant features in the spreadsheet calculation engine. Perform multithreaded programming and programming in high performance systems. Debug the systems being created. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 - $256,500/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
