ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work closely with lead developers to understand feature specifications.
Produce interim deliverables quickly (such as technical proofs of concept, etc.)
Setup, configuration, daily monitoring, and support for the production system
Communicate with development, product, and Customer Experience Specialists to address customer issues/concerns.
Support the initial review and analysis of Incident tickets, as per Problem Management procedures.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA)
Support a culture of continuous improvement.
Ensure the creation of proper documentation.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
2+ years of professional development experience
Experience and familiar with Agile and Scrum development processes
Experience solving complex and large-scale software problems
General knowledge about computer networking, and TCP/UDP systems
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or secondary degree in related field or equivalent experience
4+ years of professional development experience
SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong analytical, problem solving, time management, and verbal skills
Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, including a positive can-do attitude
Proficient with Microsoft development stack ( .Net Core/C#, Web API, MVC )
Proficient with SOLID principals
Proficient with Git (Gitlab)
Commitment to continuously learning and team/individual growth.
Commitment to supporting corporate initiatives and guidelines
PREFERRED SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient with relational databases (SQL Server, Postgres)
Proficient with NoSQL databases, such as Cassandra/Redis
Previous Telco and/or IoT/M2M experience will be advantageous.
Modern UI technologies such as Angular or React
Concurrency and concurrent software
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
Familiarity with Kafka and GraphQL.
Continuous integration and automated builds
