What's the role?
The Cross Functional Integration Team sits within the End to End Product Quality and Customer Excellence Team. We provide cross functional leadership and resources to support multiple critical and complex business needs within OEM program management and the Development organization. We work closely as needed with the product delivery team.
The team is comprised of well seasoned experienced team members whose main goal is for HERE to be successful. The team is highly collaborative and enjoys the WinTogether spirit. The team consists of diverse backgrounds and experiences which offer multiple perspectives and a rich fabric within which to grow and learn.
We are looking for Software Configuration Manager (CM), preferable with understanding of the ASPICE SUP.8 Configuration Management definition. The CM handles defining the configuration strategy and related processes compliant to ASPICE definitions and to ensure proper documentation and communication to development departments. You are responsible for baselining requirements and features per development release, configure the development tool chain to ensure full traceability among the different development disciplines and to train and educate development teams in line with Configuration Management requirements as part of ASPICE or other practices. The current focus is on proper configuration management for development releases including Requirements Management.
About the role:
As a Configuration Manager, you will be responsible for :
Define and document a configuration management strategy, including configuration management activities and a life cycle model, responsibilities, and resources for performing these activities.Identify configuration items required for programs according to the Configuration management strategy that need to be stored, tested, reviewed, used, changed, delivered and / or maintained.Establish a configuration management system, including requirements management which provides an efficient means for handling the configuration items.Develop a branch management strategy where applicable for parallel development efforts (multiple programs, customers) that use the same source base.Establish the internal and external (delivery) baselines according to the configuration management strategy.Control modifications, maintain an up-to-date description of each configuration item including history.Ensure the integrity and consistency of configuration items through appropriate scheduling and resourcing of backup, storage, and archiving. Control the handling and delivery of configuration items.Facilitates Configuration Management audits together with the Quality Manager and secure meeting customer ASPICE level requirements. Responsible for keeping the status of the configuration item current as part of the Change Management processPrepare configuration documentation and maintain Configuration Management (CM) database.Engages with strategic projects to ensure Configuration Management can deliver required CMS functionality within project timeframesHas access to configuration item (CI), software inventory, baseline mapping and a frequent member of Change Management mapping/process.Provides a full set of states to enable the management of a configuration item such as archived, blacklisted, built, deployment in progress, obsolete, versioned, owned, controlled, disposed, down, enrolled, plannedReviews and publishes configuration management reporting.Mentors the organization on Configuration Management services, concepts, policies and procedures.
Who are you?
You are someone who has:
Successfully completed studies (Bachelor or Master) in computer science, industrial engineering, or a comparable course of study years.Proven configuration management experience in development environments, in the automotive industry preferable.Preferable experience in defining configuration management concepts and strategies according Automotive ASPICE and ISO26262 requirements.Experience in practically configuring the entire development toolchain.Experience with agile work management tools like JIRA.Experience with execution of release audits during the release of work packages as per schedule.Practical experience in baselining, documenting, revision, and result handling of various development releases.Practical experience in Requirements ManagementExperience with participation in CCB [Change Control Board] meetings and providing approval for changed work packages of the project.Experience with integration of software and release to meet sprint plan.Familiar with Tools like: Gitlab, JenkinsEnglish language skills mandatory, German language skills could be an advantage.
