Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Social Media Intern to join and support all things social for the Omni-Channel Media team within the Digital Marketing Department at Santander. The intern will dive into the world of Social Media Marketing (SMM) with hands-on experience in executing engaging campaigns across our established social platforms (e.g., Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
This 2023 Summer Internship is a 10-week program for undergraduate students who have an anticipated graduation date between December 2024 and May 2025.

What You'll Do:
Create, schedule, and publish content across all our social media platformsMonitor social media trends and analytics to help optimize our content and engagementAssist in managing comments and messages on our social media pages to foster engagement and community buildingContribute creative ideas and collaborate with our team on developing social media campaignsSupport the creation of various multimedia content such as videos, infographics, and animated imagesConduct research on current financial industry market trends in SMM
Who You Are:
Undergraduate student with a graduation date between December 2024 and May 2025Majoring in Marketing, Communications, or a related fieldCumulative GPA of 3.0 or aboveExcellent writing and communication skillsCreativity and an eye for designFamiliarity with social media platforms and tools (Sprinklr, Brandwatch, etc.)Proficient in Excel and PowerPointStrong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detailAdaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced market environmentSolid work ethic, both professionally and personallyCapable of working independently and in a diverse, inclusive team environment
Working Conditions:
Extended working hours may be required based on business needsMay need to lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to 20 poundsExtended periods of computer use may be required with repetitive motions of the hands and wrist related to writing and typing at an electronic keyboard

Working Conditions: Frequent Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking. Occasional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown. Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
