About the Job:
You will be part of the EMEA regional Social Impact & Sustainability (SI&S) team based in Paris. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams across the organization, including global offices, affiliates, brands, and functions. You will play a pivotal role in driving social impact and sustainability initiatives, working closely with the EMEA SI&S Director. The job offers international exposure and an opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the beauty industry's latest challenges.
Main Objectives and Deliverables:
Act as the main lead and regional point of contact for key strategic SI&S initiatives, serving as a crucial link between the Global ELC team and the EMEA markets towards a top-down vs bottom-up approach. Contribute to the acceleration of all SI&S initiatives; assist teams with priority setting, problem-solving, and stakeholder management. Lead regional SI&S employee engagement efforts in collaboration with various stakeholders. Facilitate communication with all stakeholders to ensure alignment with guidelines, goals, and projects. Partner with the Corporate Communication team to raise awareness and engagement among the employees and externally.
Tasks and Missions:
Social Impact:
Co-lead the Breast Cancer Campaign (BCC) in collaboration with the Corporate Communication team, focusing on employee engagement strategies through global, regional, and local initiatives. Amplify impact across all countries & brands. Lead 'disaster relief' efforts for the region, supporting EMEA markets in the aftermath of disasters: identify and set up NGO partnership, including donations and support. Orchestrate NGO partnerships across brands and markets, including compliance & vetting leveraging internal tool.
Sustainability:
Lead Sustainability Retailer Programs regionally, in close partnership with the commercial team, providing expertise and managing communication between brand leads and the global subject matter experts. Act as a regional green-building lead; identify ways to raise the bar in terms of practices & behaviors across our office and store locations, support new opening & renovations, leveraging expertise from both local office champions and global & regional experts.
Education, Employee Engagement, and Others:
Strategize and develop dynamic and engaging internal activations for employees across the EMEA region, including awareness campaigns and expert talks. Fuel the company's Good Works program across different touchpoints & stakeholders to reach ambitious employee engagement targets for donations and volunteering. Monitor and report on SI&S trends (Sciences & experts, competition, innovation, legal & regulatory, etc.) and conduct & formalize ad hoc studies to inform and influence key internal stakeholders. Maintain our community platform with best practices, testimonials & internal/external news, as well as build robust plan for our monthly community calls. Measure progress & success through reporting on major KPIs as well as oversee budget-related tasks, including purchase order creation and invoice submission.

Qualifications
Profile:
A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Business Administration, Social Sciences or Communication. Strong interest and 2-3 years of experience in Social Impact, Sustainable Development, and/or Employee Engagement. Skills required include project management, stakeholder engagement, reporting, attention to details, strategic thinking, a collaborative approach, and the ability to independently manage projects. Fluent in English, with French being a plus.
