The SOACC Research and Event Monitoring (REM) team monitors, tracks, and reports on intelligence and media sources on an ongoing basis for events of significance, loosely defined as events that have the potential to, or are already impacting Bank of America facilities, operations, or employees. The team will use the information gathered and notify stakeholders / additional lines of business via intelligence crisis reporting to ensure proper awareness and/or appropriate response actions are taken.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Produce and distribute intelligence crisis reporting for incidents that are or could impact Bank of America employees, operations, or assets.Quickly verify real-time incidents and be able to write a concise and accurate intelligence report that would be distributed to senior leadership and key response stakeholders within short deadlines.Directly monitors and initially reports on incidents that fall within the defined parameters.Work closely with Regional Intelligence Analysts for additional gathering, vetting, and review of information.Researches, collects, and reports on security intelligence for an identified geography or topic under direct management, team lead supervision, or senior Intelligence Analyst.Supports Corporate Security, Executive Protection, and Intelligence and Analysis teams with routine/ad-hoc requests as directed.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Bachelor's Degree in Intelligence, Journalism, Communications, or other related field (or equivalent professional experience)Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)OSINT research skills and familiarity with social media networking toolsPerceptive, strong attention to detail, and ability to adhere to deadlines during crisis eventsProven ability to operate effectively in high-pressure and time-sensitive environmentsProfessional demeanor, demonstrated team player, and positive attitudeAbility to manage multiple competing tasks and prioritize accordinglyMust be able to work 1st shift hours (6:30am - 3:00pm) and flexible schedule as required
