Summary of Duties:
Under indirect supervision, perform work in ordering, receiving, sales, inventory, cash control, and security. Assist, lead, and direct student employees in maintaining efficient, and courteous service of quality, properly portioned food; ensuring that safety and sanitation procedures are followed. Operate light powered equipment. Cooperate in maintaining a productive, harmonious, and positive work environment. Must possess a general understanding that Dining Services is an evolving ever-changing operation designed to react to trends and new information to meet and exceed our guests' expectations. This description of duties will not limit the Snack Bar Lead job function in regards to future decisions, operational needs and dictates as initiated by Dining Services management.
Required Qualifications:
• Possession of food handler's permit AND two years of experience in food service work, including one year of lead experience; OR equivalent education/experience.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Food Handler's Permit within 14 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Two to five years retail experience.
• Experience leading and training employees.

Monthly Salary:
Range 34 | $2,940 to $3,883 (Steps A-M) | Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with https://https:/app.leg.wa.gov/WAC/default.aspx?cite=357-28OR applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
