  This role is part of the Lunar Permanence business unit. To further BlueOrigin's mission of having millions of people living and working in space,we are building the sustainable infrastructure for our transport of crew andcargo from Earth to the Lunar Surface.As part of a diverse and hardworking team of engineers, you will contributeto the definition and development of spacecraft thermal control systems. Youshould be comfortable working in a fast-paced and often uncertainenvironment, contributing to innovative solutions, while demonstratingpersonal leadership, technical competence, and attention to detail. Youwill work directly with NASA and our National Team Partners as part of theHuman Landing System (HLS) Sustaining Lunar Development (SLD) program.You will play a key role in developing the Lunar Transportation system thatwill return humans to the Moon. We are looking for Engineers to be responsiblefor thermal components from conception, through internal or externaldevelopment, testing, and integration with the vehicle. You will be partof the Thermal Hardware group for multiple generations of landers, whichworks closely with the Thermal Analysis group within the Lunar Thermalintegrated product team. Inputs to your work will include subsystemspecifications, mission environments, and design and constructionstandards. Outputs will include component specifications, testplan/execution/reports, occasional thermal analysis, short/long termdevelopment plans, and make/buy decisions.Contribute to a team of Thermal Engineers and Analysts simultaneouslydeveloping groundbreaking lunar landers. We are looking for someone to applytheir technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality topositively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and visionis required!Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering5 years of relevant Thermal Engineering experienceSolid understanding of thermal fundamentalsFamiliarity with common spacecraft thermal hardwareDemonstrated experience building and testing hardwareUnderstanding of aerospace hardware verification and validation processAbility to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships,and contribute to a culture of inclusion.Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current GreenCard holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or grantedasylum

  Preferred Qualifications:M.S. or PhD degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering8 years of relevant aerospace experienceSolid understanding of pumped fluid loop hardware such as pumps, coldplates, radiators, valves, heat exchangers, etc and semi-passivedevices like sensors and heatersExperience solving a variety of thermal problems demonstrating breadth inapplicationVendor technical management experienceFamiliarity with Thermal...
