**This opportunity is specifically for active-duty U.S. Armed Forces members that are transitioning from service and approved for the DoD SkillBridge Program.
An account manager at EPIC Brokers is an individual with a service focused analytical contributor who thrives on providing knowledge, seeks information to benefit our clients and is an effective communicator. This role will be focused on learning the Property and Casualty Insurance policies/lines within the group as this individual transitions from military service to a civilian role. Candidate will gain strong knowledge of Business Insurance policies and will look to grow our current book of business by cross-selling, marketing current policies, and being point person for producers to send new submissions. This involves assisting in the management of existing clients and internal account teams activities as well as research and support for his new business production efforts. You will complete the P&C license test for their state and gain hand on experience within the organization to transition into a full time career with EPIC Brokers and the insurance brokerage industry. This is a program targeted for six (6) months of training. The minimum Skillbridge requirement is a 4 month commitment.

Position Responsibilities
Manage practice’s full book of Business Insurance policies Maintain renewal schedule and open items list Collaborate with producers and team Deliver support to sales staff for new applications Pursue opportunities to cross-sell Business Insurance policiesReview current policy terms on existing book of business Manage policy endorsements Strategize with Producer on prioritization of prospects, engagement strategy and execution Strategize with Producer and team on targeting research, analytics and execution Maintain ownership and strategy for social media (LinkedIn) presence, content and engagement Research industries where we perform well, identifying and prioritizing new targets. Coordinate with EPIC resources on written materials for presentations, RFP responses etc. on a tactical and administrative level (print/bind in house and FedEx office when necessary) Responsible for timely, accurate invoicing and monthly expirations Other duties may be assigned
About You
Experience Requirements
College Degree preferred or equivalent working experience
Current active military servicemember seeking a SkillBridge transition role and available to join program for 4 months minimum and 6 months ideally
Willingness to study for and complete successfully the Property and Casualty licensing requirements for the role.
Proficiency with a variety of Microsoft Office computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software
Proficiency in Salesforce and LinkedIn

The national average salary for this role is $55,000-65,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications, and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
