Job Title: Site Transformation Project Manager
Location: Port Sunlight Factories
JOB PURPOSE
Deliver a vertical start-up of PSL Transformation Projects
Ensures factory savings committed in business case are delivered.
Give input and approve IQ and OQ protocols for new equipment and work processes.
Lead ramp up phase (PQ/validation and commissioning) of new equipment and work processes.
Develop and ensure delivery of organisational change and training plan for all factory personnel impacted by the changes.
Ensure systems are updated to maintain all new and modified equipment and work processes (AM, PM, SOPs, training).
Define and implement the organization structure post transformation.
Ensure interaction with other site initiatives and programs is well understood and reflected in scope and schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish communication drumbeat with all stakeholders:
Liaise between SU experts and project team.
Coordinate the communications with stakeholders.
Develop and execute project communication drumbeat.
Ensure full alignment of scope between project team and site key stakeholders.
Ensure the operational needs of the factory are met through design and implementation:
Define success criteria with input from all stakeholders.
Ensure designs meet factory business needs and are approved by project stakeholders.
Ensure design review process happens for every scope block at the right frequency, actions are captured and actioned.
Sign-off and validate design documents.
Participate in any FAT activities for the factory technical scope and applications.
Participate in the creation and execution of the IQ & OQ validation activities.
Lead the definition and execution of all PQ validation activities.
Own and prioritize the snagging list for all installation and changes.
Ensure there is a clear and documented BCP in place for all business-critical equipment and applications.
Defines and ensures delivery of training program for SU team for new and modified equipment or processes.
Ensure relevant factory metrics and targets are reflected in any supplier and 3rd party contracts and KPI reviews are in place.
Ensure the right resources are available to support the project execution:
Set up Launch team and KPIs for transformation.
Participate in all design reviews & weekly project meetings.

The candidate must demonstrate successful delivery of Project management and/ or experience of managing an operational role in manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership skills must be evident.
Candidate must be confident to discuss and review operational requirements with third party suppliers and engineers to define and test technical solutions.
Candidate must take initiative to identify and drive resolution to any issues or conflicts linked to the existing factory operations.
Excellent relationship, teamwork and communication skills are essential.
Good organisational awareness and ability to build collaborative networks across the SU.
High level of curiosity to ensure that all risks and opportunities are managed effectively.
Ability to review and interpret data is essential.

Recruitment Fraud
Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs. These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.
How is Unilever tackling this?
Many of Unilever’s recruitment sites publish a warning to candidates about recruitment fraud. The Cyber Security team also proactively scan for signs of people setting up fake Unilever sites and act to close them down.
