What You Will Achieve
Your expertise in the manufacturing domain will help in leading the continued transformation of all aspects of the site, including the further integration of operating systems for all aspects of manufacturing and packaging operations. You will ensure that the site operations and colleagues are fully aligned with the Pfizer values and culture. You will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical direction to all production operations and related support functions. You will ensure compliance with local and federal regulations as well as with company policies and procedures and any regulatory agencies concerning the operations.
As a Vice President, your innovative ideas and creative decision-making lead the strategic direction of your site, operating unit and division. Your ability to leverage constructive relationships across sites, operating units and divisions will help you maximize the resources available within the organization. Your ability to exercise foresight and judgment in initiating, planning, organizing and guiding complex projects in unprecedented situations shall be critical to the achievement of goals set forth for the site, operating unit, division and Pfizer. How You Will Achieve It
Provide direction and leadership for all site operations including but not limited to Manufacturing, Quality Operations, Supply Chain/Warehousing, Technical Services, Engineering, Utilities & Maintenance, Environment, Health & Safety and Operational Excellence.
Lead strategic direction including business performance and financial management for highly complex activities within site, Operating Unit and Pfizer Global Supply.
Develop and maintain an effective organization through talent selection, training, development, leadership and management.
Continually evaluate best in class, technology, processes, and talent to ensure optimal supply and to support continued growth.
Represent the site, Pfizer Global Supply and Pfizer in appropriate local government agency and institutional board membership.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers, regulators and other stakeholders.
Works effectively and aligns across the organization to share good practices and demonstrates mutual accountability for the success of all facilities within the operating unit/Pfizer Global Supply.
Lead existing and future continuous improvement /change management efforts of a world class pharmaceutical manufacturer to drive operational effectiveness and efficiency.
Partner with People Experience on all people related issues, including working regulations, ER, and labor relations
Support strategic acquisitions and/or partnerships as required.
Consistently proposing big ideas; drives projects and processes with a sense of urgency; resilient when faced with challenges and setbacks; strives for simplicity
Qualifications
Must-Have
Up to 15 years of manufacturing, quality or engineering experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry with a BS/BA Degree in Science/related field
Experience leading people leaders and directing a large, complex organization.
Up to 15 years' experience with 5-10 in a leadership role
Demonstrated strategic business acumen
Ability to understand and utilize financial analyses to make good decisions in a manufacturing environment
Strong people management and development experience
Strong Analytical skills
Experience leading substantial change management efforts
Experience working horizontally in a matrix organization
Experience with continuous improvement tools
Demonstrated strong organizational and leadership skills
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Nice-to-Have
Master's degree
Experience in navigating labor relations
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $239,300.00 to $387,200.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 30.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
