Site IT and Project Management Lead
Topeka, KS
Hybrid- 50% onsite
The Site IT and Project Management Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping technology infrastructure and service improvement projects across the region, market, and segment. They take a proactive approach in driving specific technological enhancements, processes, or service areas, spanning multiple sites or the entire region. This role may also involve leading centrally mandated deployments across multiple sites, collaborating closely with requesting teams to define deployment plans and recommending adjustments following pilot phases.
What are we looking for?
5+ years of experience in IT service management, IT project management, or a related field.Bachelor's degree in information systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Engineering (or equivalent qualifications with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology).5+ years of experience in managing IT change within a business context.Strong customer orientation with a focus on delivery of value-added service.Demonstrated proficiency in project management (Certification a plus)Strong background in stakeholder management.Supply Chain experience a plus
What would be your key responsibilities?
Provide recommendations and leadership in infrastructure and service improvement projects across the region, market, or segment.Proactively drive the enhancement of technologies, processes, and service areas across multiple locations. Lead centrally mandated deployments across multiple locations. Collaborate with requesting teams to define suitable deployment plans and propose modifications after pilot phases.Develop, maintain, and implement an ongoing site infrastructure improvement plan, encompassing servers, computer rooms, end-user support, and related areas.Although the role predominantly focuses on strategic responsibilities, ensure the day-to-day execution of site business operations activities is efficiently managed, with accountability for service delivery to supported locations.Regularly review site service levels, project activities, site infrastructure roadmaps, and other relevant aspects with Business Partner (BP) teams.Plan and request Capital Allocation Budget (CAB) funding for necessary technology enhancements, upgrades, and life cycle management.Identify opportunities for enhanced reliability, supportability, or efficiency and integrate these into the improvement plan.
