Job Summary:
Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) is a leading designer and manufacturer of focal plane arrays and flight-based camera systems supporting a myriad of defense, surveillance, space, and weather tracking applications. RVS is split into two manufacturing operations groups: (1) Focal Plane Operations & (2) Camera & Sensor Packaging. This role is nested within Camera & Sensor Packaging and reports directly to the Production Control Manager. Prospective hires will work on a team of 18 salaried Production Control Analysts all of which sit in one of two administration areas at the local Goleta campus. This position is responsible for overseeing, directing, and controlling work to and from the production floor in the way of work order management. The Production Control Analyst is the main communication conduit working between Operations Program Management, Manufacturing Engineering, & the Factory to meet production goals.

Responsibilities To Anticipate:
Leverage MRP to determine material requirements.
Release purchase requisitions to Supply Chain to initiate material replenishment of procured materials.
Analyze supportive raw material positions.
Prepare reports and status manufacturing progress within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) atmosphere.
Request material from the warehouse to kit to next higher assemblies.
Release work orders; tracking sub-assemblies and top level assemblies through multiple production centers on the Goleta campus.
Analyze work-in-process (WIP) to evaluate program position.
Physically access the lab environment to perform hardware cycle counts and ensure sub-assemblies are available at point of use (POU) on the production line.
Set material and assembly priorities with factory management, product management, and program management to ensure adherence to Master Production Schedule (MPS).
Coordinate efforts with quality, manufacturing engineering and other support groups to process discrepant material in a timely fashion.
Facilitate outbound end of month shipments to customers with the logistics team.
Work is roughly 65% independent contribution & 35% collaborative with the team and internal customers.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Experience With Microsoft Excel.

Prior exposure to SAP or like MRP system

2+ years experience working in a material control capacity or role supporting manufacturing operations.

The salary range for this role is 70,000 USD - 142,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
