Leidos is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the SIL Manager position for the Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems Contract. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing a SIL. This position is located near Lackland Air Force Base; all work is onsite.

Primary Responsibilities
Interfaces with supervisor, customer, Project Engineering, and Program Management to determine System Integration Laboratory (SIL) support requirements
Starts up all SIL equipment and loads all SIL software in an orderly fashion; shuts down in the same manner to reconfigure the SIL or close down for the day
Monitors SIL schedules and ongoing test/integration activities and provides technical support, troubleshooting and repair or replacement of defective equipment
Assists in planning periodic SIL upgrades to new wiring and equipment configurations
Lead a team in fabricating, assembling, and installing electrical/electronic parts, materials, hardware, wiring harnesses and components into complete assemblies
Works with management to develop and adhere to schedules and budgets required to accomplish assigned work
Provides regular status updates for ongoing work efforts to keep management and our customer informed
Maintains inventory of hardware as well as security documentation on various systems/hardware/software.
Basic Qualifications
Typically requires Masters with 15 – 20 years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13 – 16 years of prior relevant experience
Understand the relationship between applications, operating systems, hardware and software
Experience in total system design, including networks
AWS experience
Process improvement experience
Prior experience developing and deploying solutions to customer requirements
Knowledge and experience with Services Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Knowledge of security principles, policy and regulations
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to demonstrate a commitment to personal and corporate excellence, ethical behavior, and integrity.
Experience with ITIL, ITSM and hardware and software utilized for operations and support of data center resources utilized to manage, operate, or run applications, database systems, and end user access.
Ability to work independently and as a team member under tight deadlines with changing priorities.
Ability to mentor and lead a technical team to include functional management of direct reports.
Understanding of and experience with a managed services approach.
Ability to communicate and work effectively with other contractors and Government civilians. Able to brief Government leadership.
Strong project management skills
Candidate must, at a minimum, meet DoD 8570.11- IAT Level II certification requirements (currently Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP along with an appropriate computing environment (CE) certification)
Must possess an active Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in with large system architecture
Understanding of OS, CAS, COTS products and lifecycles.
Active TS/SCI preferred- IDCS Mobile
Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
