Responsibilities
The Opportunity
Main purpose of this position is to continue developing the SDNA capability for LATAM sector and go beyond the basics, creating analytical models using the tool's data, connected to a buisiness objective to drive growth, working closely with key markets and embedding the tool in their current processes to make initiatives sharper.
The focus of this role is to facilitate in driving data-driven decision making, fostering collaboration with BU stakeholders, and ensuring the successful implementation of data science and business intelligence solutions (Leveraging sDNA ) that deliver. This individual will be responsible for driving data science frameworks for store potential , shopper led cluster and Assortment Optimisation
Need to work closely with the LATAM Business Units to manage the annual workplan scope and deliver the projects through. Coordinate with Europe sector teams and HBS Data Science to ensure best practices of advanced analytics frameworks are adhered and deployed for different markets. This is going to be a techno functional role translating business pain points making the outputs intuitive for business use case.
In Summary this role will:
Focus on support for data science and advanced analytics initiatives (sDNA and cDNA ) for LATAM e.g. prediction of store potential, store segmentation, assortment optimization, asset deployment, audience profiling, etc.., through application of data science and advanced analyticsCollaborate with Senior Business stakeholders to align Data Strategy to Business objectives and contribute to defining and socializing the mechanism to measure the Return on Data Investments and overall success of Data StrategyOptimise and integrate different data sets to enable the undertaking of advanced analytics to identify growth opportunitiesKey responsibilities will be to understand the data availability across LATAM markets, develop solutions using advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning projects This role need to engage in complex data analysis using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to extract insights from large data sets Leverage best practice capabilities with GBS and learnings on Data Science applications.
Your Impact
As Shopper Insights Assoc Manager your scope would consist of:
Data Analysis and Modeling: Analyzing complex datasets to extract valuable insights and identify trends/patterns. Develop and implement predictive and prescriptive models to support business decision-making. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the analysis process.Working with huge and varied datasets to find sources of strategic advantage in go-to-market and execution, with a focus on Organised Trade, Traditional Trade and Away-From-HomeClean and prepare data for use in advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning projectsBuild analysis in Python with accompanying documentationDesigning and using algorithms and building predictive & prescriptive models needed to automate execution and the generation of insights, to enable efficiencies that allow colleagues to focus on value added tasks.Provide responses to ad-hoc follow-ups when double-click (additional questions) required with tables/charts for relevant dataDeveloping our internal capability to derive insights from structured data, unstructured data through location intelligence, machine learning, collaborative filtering, etc. to unlock new sources of insight that can be used to drive competitive advantage.Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders, including senior management, to understand business objectives and develop a data science roadmap. Translate business needs into actionable plans and projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goalsSolution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and challenges, and design data science solutions that address their needs. Identify and evaluate appropriate methodologies, algorithms, and tools to effectively solve complex problems. Ensure scalability, efficiency, and maintainability of the solutions.Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data science, machine learning, and AI. Identify opportunities to enhance data science methodologies, tools, and processes within the team.
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
+7 yrs working experience preferably in CPG industry or Consulting, in areas of Analytics, Insights, Marketing, ITBachelor's degree in engineering, Data Scientist, Actuario, Data Analytics related career; post-graduate degree in same areas desirableOutstanding project management skillsStrong quantitative skills and Analytics proficiency (Data Sicience)Acts as an owner, self-starter with the highest results orientation Fluent in Spanish and English, Purtuguese desiredStrategic thinking and Results oriented Assertive Communication to all stakeholdersProficient using Excel, Power Point and WordProficient using data science language SQL, Python, GIT & DAXMost know how to work data arquitecture Preferable experience with data engineering SQL, Airflow, DBT & GTIStrong analytical skillsIntelectual curiositySchedule flexibility as we have different time zones within Latam countriesAbility to manage several projects/ task at a time (multitask)Ability to analyze and connect data from different sources, identifying issues and opportunitiesManage to work under high demand ambience.
