Job Description
Eurofins Environment Testing is searching for a Sample ControlTechnician I in Burlington, Vermont. No laboratory experience isrequired.
Supports the receipt and shipment of samples into and out of thelaboratory. Assists in preparing and shipping bottle kits for deliveryto clients and ensures accurate and timely documentation of sample login, labeling, and routing. Sample Control Technicians will also beresponsible for proper disposal of samples from lab storage areas inaccordance with all applicable procedures.
Sample Control Technician I responsibilities include, but are notlimited to the following
:
Receives and unloads incoming samples and verifies receipt againstthe client\'s provided documentation. Verifies that documentation isaccurate and complete,Logs samples into the laboratory\'s computer systemto assign a lotnumber for tracking purposes.Prepares bottle kits daily to be shipped to clients to collectsamples and return for analysis in accordance with establishedproceduresDisposes of spent samples, in accordance with establishedprocedures.Monitors freezer and cooler temperatures daily to confirm that thereadings are within SOP guidelines.Cleans and organizes the department daily to promote a clean, safework environment and smoother flow of daily operations.Maintains and promotes safety and conducts all operations in a safeand environmentally compliant manner.Other job duties as determined by local management.The ideal candidate would possess the following attributes

Basic Minimum Qualifications

Position is full-time, Tuesday through Saturday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., withovertime as needed. A 5% shift differential is paid for those workingthis shift. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance ofBurlington, Vermont are encouraged to apply.
Pay range: \$17-19/hr
Please note - Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensationrange for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary basedupon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salaryof internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.
