What’s a typical day as a Shipping Coordinator ? You’ll be:
Shipping Coordinator oversees the Shipping and Receiving area. They are a primary Customer Services representative at Rombauer Vineyards ensuring dedication to the highest quality of customer satisfaction delivered with a sense of graciousness, pride, fun, and company spirit. They also provide a positive product image to all visitors. May assist with hospitality special events as needed.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9am-5:30pm
Duration: Temporary, until 12/31/23
Salary: $24/hr
Consumer Relations:
• Assists with many daily operations to include customer service and general duties. Keeps workspace clean.
• Data entry may be assigned in support of Wine Club or web sales, order processing and order returns.
• May conduct outbound calling in response to general order inquiries answer phones to take orders, schedule reservations, and respond to general inquiries.
Shipping/Receiving:
• Prepares and packs goods for shipment.
• Counts, signs for, and distributes goods received.
• Facilitate wholesale will call’s and consolidation transfers to offsite warehouses.
• Maintains necessary files and documentation regarding all inventory shipment, returns and transfers.
• Assists with special projects such as labeling, foiling, marking, packaging, and special inventory related tasks.
• Utilizes small hand tools and operates material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jack and hand trucks.
• Packs retail wine for shipping, ensuring that wine is packaged and shipped in a timely manner; that the correct wines are packed, and the appropriate POS materials are included.
Inventory Control and Order management:
• Keeps all inventory organized and easy to locate.
• Works closely with RVN and RSF Management team’s on weekly wine orders including order tracking
• Review inventory availability in WSC
• Review inventory locations, initiate and complete inventory transfers in NAV
• Processes returns with instructions from DTC Admin team and update returns worksheet
• Ensures all orders are accounted for and have appropriate statuses in system
• Performs manual and clerical duties related to the ordering of shipment materials, wine, supplies, equipment, and finished products.
• Complete month end processes in preparation for physical counts. May support counts and problem solving.
