About Services Sales Engineer

  You as a Services Sales Engineer will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Baghdad, Iraq. You will be actively supporting sales, coordinating customer relationship and is available for customer to maximize customer satisfaction and profitable growth for HE Service. Your primary focus will be tenders for service and small to medium sized projects. You will be implementing One HE approaches according to Service strategy. You need to be effective in a multiple BU environment. You will require stamina to handle time pressure and short response times.

  Your responsibilities:

  Ensuring that any complaints and/or suggestions from customers are forwarded to the appropriate individual or unit within the HE organization, to secure feedback to the customer.Forwarding identified issues which may be converted into business opportunities to a salesperson and/or manager within the unit.Responding and give feedback to the organization about new trends/influences in the market as soon as he/she become aware of them.Acting as a marketer of HE's services and solutions. I.e., provides support at trade fairs, exhibitions, customer meetings, and with telephone contacts. Is knowledgeable about service offerings in order to be able to resolve the customer's problem by utilizing resources in the service organization.Supporting the customer by acting as a source of information and/or door opener for the customer into the HE organization.Use the HE internal network to match different levels at the customer with the right level of people at HE.Having a good knowledge about the customer and the customer's processes. Can provide clear responses and Suggesting to the customer on actions or measures to be taken, including feedback to the concerned salesperson.Work proactively in sales planning to achieve added sales.Managing the on-going daily contacts with suppliers and sub-suppliers, within an agreed framework with and responsible for the order management process and report discrepancies to the relevant persons.Producing the required documentation and support material required.Preparing sales proposals and tender to customers and salespersons and follow up the offers made.Monitoring ongoing purchasing when necessary and is actively engaged in added sales. Work with defined systems to increase HE's added value for the customer.Ensuring that payments from the customer are received in accordance with the terms and conditions in the contract to avoid overdue payments.Assisting the salespersons with analysis of completed business transactions ("won/lost") by identifying and structuring the basic elements of the sales/contracts, such as project lists, quantities, responses from sales proposals, etc.Ensuring that the logistics process runs without interruption or disturbance. Oversee that delivery times are in Lining the contract and that any discrepancies are reported without delay to the relevant person (product manager, salesperson, specialists, manager)Ensuring that deliveries of services are implemented on time at the agreed upon price.Following up that customer is satisfied and that any customer complaints are regularly registered in a database.Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

  Your background

  A bachelor's degree or diploma in electrical engineering or 5 years' experience in Service or in Industrial Sales Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.Strong knowledge of the relevant HE services offering, HE products and systems offering. General knowledge of customer products, applications, and processes Ability to identify customer service needs and to match those against HE services offerings. Know Sales processes and related tools.Knowledge of HE health and safety procedures.
