A day in the life (just a few of the things you may do on any given day): • Review alerts and warnings to determine next steps for resolution. • Coordinate with project managers and business units to determine project scopes and requirements • Collaborate with backup team on backup and restore tickets/problems. • Engage with other technical groups to complete projects. • Create and maintain documentation, diagrams, and job aids. • Manage and execute on tickets and requests from Service now and Jira platforms. What we are expecting from you (i.e. the qualifications you must have): • Must have 5-7 years of VMware experience • Manage enterprise Virtual Systems and Networks with vSphere/vROps • Have application installation, support, testing, and troubleshooting skills • Have experience managing VMware NSX infrastructure • Have scripting experience with powershell/powercli) • Understand and implement current security best practices while always keeping up with new best practices as they come out What we are desiring from you (i.e. the nice-to-have qualifications): • Knowledge of API calls, vRNI, Tanzu, and SSL Certificates • Relevant certifications • Work as a team player • Approach assignments with a collaborative spirit, working effectively with different departments to help enhance the overall effectiveness of the team and to help foster a positive work environment What we will provide in return: Excellent compensation and amazing benefits • Multiple health insurance options which include a PPO plan with ZERO deductibles and an HSA plan. • 401k Immediate Vesting.
