We are looking for a ServiceNow Program Manager to play a vital role in maintaining the ServiceNow CSM FSM Configurable Workspace. Your core responsibility will involve collaborating with business leaders and stakeholders to translate existing business processes into the ServiceNow environment, enhancing and creating new processes, and guiding the development of associated workflows within the ServiceNow platform. Additionally, you will be accountable for the oversight of the engineering aspect of the ServiceNow system, encompassing maintenance, enhancements, and continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your technical expertise to devise comprehensive integrated program plans, encompassing crucial milestones, project schedules, financial management, performance metrics, and resource requirements for complex programs.
- Manage integrated program plans, identifying and mitigating risks, addressing dependencies, removing obstacles, and ensuring the prompt and smooth execution of programs.
- Provide support in developing technical program standards, governance, and frameworks to establish predictability and consistency in program delivery.
- Efficiently manage program budgets, schedules, scope, resource allocation, risk identification and mitigation, issues, and adherence to the program plan.
- Collaborate across teams, employing appropriate frameworks to bridge gaps, eliminate obstacles, and ensure the successful delivery of major initiatives.
- Conduct program assessments, including the collection of timely feedback, and incorporate successes and areas for improvement into future program iterations. Work closely with program leaders to define success metrics and assess the long-term impact of each program.
Expectations:
- Extensive experience in ServiceNow software and experience with enterprise-level implementations.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to establish strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience in executing implementation strategies, capturing business and system requirements, conducting analysis, preparing functional specification documents, solution design, prototyping, testing, and training.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and practices.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations.
Experience/Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing ServiceNow solutions.
- Over 10 years of experience in managing IT initiatives.
- Led a minimum of 2 enterprise system implementations.
- Proficiency in conceptualizing, designing, and delivering engineering outcomes and program launches across cross-functional teams and domains.
- Experience in co-creating and defining technical program roadmaps and strategies.
- Proficiency in executing implementation strategies, capturing business and system requirements, conducting analysis, preparing functional specification documents, solution design, prototyping, testing, and training.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues involving multiple vendors and internal teams.
- Proven experience in identifying cross-dependencies, critical paths, and using these insights to prioritize and plan programs.
- Experience with software development projects and management techniques, including SAFe, SCRUM, and Agile.
- Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Project Professional.
- Experience in direct management of client stakeholders, including the Program Executive and Contracting Office.
- Bachelor's degree.
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- ITIL v3 or v4 Practitioner Certification.
The salary range posted below refers only to positions that will be physically based in New York City / New Jersey. As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. Pay ranges for candidates in locations other than New York City / New Jersey, may differ based on the local market data in that region. The base salary pay range for this position is $96,000 - $128,000.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
