The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team on a contractual basis. As a ServiceNow Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to meet the organization's business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow development, customization, and integration, along with excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing business challenges.
Essential Functions/duties may include:
ServiceNow Development:
Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including configuration, customization, and scripting.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
Customization and Configuration:
Customize and configure ServiceNow modules to align with business processes.Implement and maintain ServiceNow configurations, including workflows, business rules, UI policies, and catalog items.
Integration:
Integrate ServiceNow with other third-party applications and systems as required.Develop and maintain integration processes, ensuring seamless data flow between ServiceNow and external systems.
Scripting and Automation:
Utilize JavaScript, GlideScript, and other scripting languages to develop custom applications and automate processes within the ServiceNow platform.Create and maintain script-based solutions to enhance platform functionality.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow applications and modules.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure system stability.
Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations.Keep documentation up-to-date to facilitate knowledge transfer and future reference.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a track record of successful ServiceNow implementations.In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, modules, and best practices.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in JavaScript and scripting languages used in ServiceNow development.Strong understanding of ServiceNow customization, configuration, and administration.
Communication:
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Certifications:
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certification is highly desirable.
Availability:
Flexibility to work on a contractual basis with the potential for extended or future engagements. The work will require roughly 100 hours.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers.Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role. Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment.
