  Job Description

  Responsibilities include; Install, monitor, maintain, support, and optimize all production server hardware and software. Provide technical support for complex technical issues which may include leading problem management cases and providing management status. Coordinate support cases and lead appropriate internal technical resources and/or third party vendors to resolution and coordinate a storage infrastructure of Oracle system and database appliances. Responsible for Oracle production environments; assist with server operating system and application upgrades, bug fixes, and patching; and work on standardization projects for both hardware and software under the Oracle technology stack while providing consistent system uptime as expected in a Cloud environment. Provide on-call support, on a rotating basis.

  Responsibilities

  U.S. Citizenship and Possess and Maintain active TS/SCI + Polygraph Clearance

  Ability to work in 24/7 NOC; 4X10 schedule to include weekends

  Bachelor’s degree, in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.

  Experience with Linux

  Experience participating in or running incident bridges.

  Customer focus, passion for delighting customers.

  Experience in cloud technical support, operations, NOC or similar is preferred, but not required.

  Experience working with government customers is preferred, but not required.

  Demonstrable ability to quickly learn new technical domains and then train others.

  Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the United States only

  Hiring Range: from $30.29 to $60.63 per hour; from $63,000 to $126,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

  Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

  Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  11 paid holidays

  Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
