We are looking for a Service Manager at Hitachi Energy, Transformer Service business in Vaasa. As our new Service Manager one of your main responsibilities is to act as team leader and line manager for distribution transformer and tap changer service team including all tasks related to people management, and HSEQ and operations in your team.

Provide technical support to sales and directly to customers regarding distribution transformer and tap changers and running service orders and projects related to those from order to delivery and invoicing with a target to keep orders under control - on time, on cost and on quality.Project and resource planning (planning of use of internal and external resources and materials/subcontracting), negotiations with customers and suppliers, documentation and reporting, and sales of change orders.
Your background
B.Sc. in engineering (preferably electrical engineering) or equivalent Knowledge of distribution and/or power transformers (design, manufacturing, services related to transformers and/or industrial or utility usage and maintenance of transformers).Project management skills (tools and practices, hands on experiences) Good communication and coordination skills. A positive "can do" attitude.Strong verbal and written skills in Finnish. Good communication skills in English in work-related situations.Experience on people management is an advantageOn a more personal level we hope you can work systematically and are able to work independently and as a member of a team. You can interact with people from diverse backgrounds and skillsetsDetermined and responsibility to keep achieve targets (e.g., keep customer delivery time commitments)Good skills in MS Office applications. Experience with SAP ERP system is an advantage
