Join our Engineering department as a Service Engineer.
We are looking for a Service Engineer for the Engineering department at Sartorius. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance activities and respond to breakdowns within the customer’s manufacturing facility.
The team consists of 16 professionals, and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you. This position is available for full - time. This position is based on site in Billingham, Country Durham.
Grow with us – Your Responsibilities
On a daily basis you will undertake day to day planned and demand maintenance activities to keep the manufacturing facility running to defined schedules
You will attend to breakdowns, diagnose technical problems, carry out preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment i.e: bioreactors, filtration, biowealders, biosealers and more
Writing and reviewing routine documentation such as SOP’s and process documentation, prepare service reports
In addition, you will use field automation systems and liaise with technical team and share information across the organization
You will follow company procedures and protocols i.e: GMP regulations
What will convince us
You have completed an HNC/HND in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
You have experience as an electromechanical engineer within the pharmaceutical industry following GMP guidelines, though candidates from other industries i.e.: medical, food, drink etc. will also be considered
You may have experience of servicing automated systems
You have the ability to multitask and prioritize daily tasks
As an internal service provider, you have great communication skills
