Overview
Under a significant level of guidance and direction, provides customer service for Paychex Health & Benefit clients. Uses prescribed guidelines to ensure good customer relations are maintained and customer claims and complaints are resolved fairly, effectively, and in accordance with Paychex policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Corresponding via email queue with both internal partners, clients, and insurance carriersLearning and utilizing COBRA knowledge to answer questions and resolve complicated problemsMeeting team/individual metrics for the positionInputting and maintaining all documentation related to COBRA to keep with service agreementsEstablishing, managing and maintaining a positive relationship with our clients, participants, the carriers, and our internal partners
Qualifications
Associate's Degree - Preferred1 year of insurance related experience & knowledge of insurance industry customer service/billing exp & familiarity with health insurance is a plus
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $16-$20/hr. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
