  What you will be doing

  Are you a talented and driven college student seeking an internship with a global Fortune 11 healthcare company? At Cencora, we are looking for individuals with an inclusive mindset and a passion for making a difference in human and animal health.

  Our 10-week paid internship program has been developed to provide students with hands-on experience to learn more about the Healthcare industry and the impact to human and animal health. This internship program will provide you with professional development, networking and volunteer opportunities. You will learn about the Guiding Principles of our culture but most importantly, have the opportunity to become a key contributor in the future talent pipeline of Cencora.

  Start Date: June 3, 2024

  End Date: August 9. 2024

  Location: Remote in the field. This will not be a work from home internship.

  The Micro Service & Support Technician Intern is responsible for providing a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the site selection, ongoing preventative maintenance, customer service and user training of Micro related technologies. The Service intern provides support during the education of product use with the customers for the purposes of maximizing customer value and company revenue.

  Build trust and influence with customers as well as sustain and maintain the relationship with integrity and dedication to the customer.Responsible for preventative maintenance, onsite and remote service and support of the Micro Weigh Systems, Accu-Trac, Hardware, and other technologies to include but not limited to:Optimizing the customer benefit of our systems and solutionsMaximizing system uptimeTroubleshooting and problem solvingInstallation of parts and other electrical workBe knowledgeable of all products that can be used through the Micro Weigh System including product indications, dosage ranges, withdrawal rates and other information necessary to educate and assist customers in implementing feed additive products.Perform standard operational tests under protocol guidelines.Continual education of customer management team on new products and programs offered by Micro which supports and drives increased product salesMust be able to effectively communicate processes and changes to customers and other employees.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

  What your background should look like

  Currently enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor's or two-year technical school degree program. Knowledge of electrical wiring, plumbing, and basic carpenter skills highly preferred.Experience and understanding of feed yard operations helpful.Experience with use of power tools, volt meters.Ability to read electrical diagrams, setting up computer programs, and following instructions.Requires basic knowledge of computer-based software.Good customer service skills and a sense of urgency are required.
