About this Role
GoodRx is seeking an SEO Director to own the strategic roadmap for the company's organic growth, and manage the people, processes and technology that deliver on this strategic vision. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned leader in SEO to drive forward the organic growth of a highly trafficked property in the health information and prescription space, and take the business into the future amidst the rise of AI and a continuously evolving search landscape.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of SEO experts, aiding in career development and coachingSet the SEO strategy for the business at large and generate buy-in from executive leadershipHighlight trends and competitor movement within the rapidly evolving health verticalStrategically grow and defend current channel performance and trajectoryDefine and communicate 18 month - 3 year plan specific to the evolution of SEO in light of AI and "zero click searches"Establish channel-level traffic, revenue and conversion KPI's and drive execution to achieve quarterly, bi-annual and annual targets supporting overall company goalsDevelop and execute needle-moving SEO testing roadmap and planWork with cross-functional stakeholders across product, BI, engineering, design, editorial, business and marketing teams to pursue SEO improvements with a keen eye on the user experienceOversee the SEO strategy for GoodRx Health, GoodRx's highly-trafficked online health publication
Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of experience working in SEO, 5+ years managing teams and people managersA proven leader and developer of talent with a track record of driving strong performance and growth from your teamA track record of leveraging insights to define strategies that improve search visibility and user experienceCross-functional leadership skills with the ability to organize disparate stakeholders around clear objectives and key resultsExperience working at highly-trafficked consumer-facing sitesFamiliarity with SEO A/B testingExpert at Google Analytics & Search Console as well as SEO tools like Google Data Studio, SEMrush, Ahrefs, MOZ or analogous keyword research tools, as well as social listening tools (Buzzsumo, etc.) and crawling tools (Screaming Frog, etc.)
