Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking Manager DevOps Engineering 2 - 11926 . This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program.
The selected candidate will join the DevStar Team within the System Engineering Directorate and manage the DevSecOps tools and infrastructure team. The DevStar team is responsible for DevSecOps development support to ensure the tools and processes are in place for streamlined and secure software builds. This role requires close coordination with other Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to stand up the DevSecOps tools and environment to support Sentinel program SW.
In this role, you will lead a team of SW engineers to develop and support Gitlab runners within different containerization platforms, develop and support applications for containerized images, and support infrastructure as code for VDI images. This role may include Control Account Management and Risk Management duties.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Job Qualifications:
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
6 Years with Bachelors with relevant experience; 4 Years with Masters; or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.
US Citizenship, ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
1+ year of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
1+ years of experience with Agile principles to include Kanban, Scrum.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
3+ years leading a team, including mentoring and coaching.
Experience with individual contributor performance assessments.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills with the ability to solve issues and predict potential programmatic and technical risks.
General understanding of NG Engineering Processes
Working knowledge and/or experience across engineering disciplines.
Experience managing an engineering team.
Familiarity with Agile engineering and Jira.

Salary Range: $131,200 - $196,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
