We are seeking a Senior TSQL Programmer and Batch Developer (using Azure Data Factory and Python Scripting).
This position offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the client's office.
SEE YOURSELF IN THIS ROLE
As a Senior TSQL Programmer and Batch Developer, this role places you at the heart of an ambitious project within the client's Wealth Management division. This project leverages the Azure cloud platform to strategize and optimize our data flows and batch processes in applications.
Your primary responsibilities will involve requirement analysis, software development fundamentals, design, development, maintenance, testing, and implementation of efficient data flow and batch processes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Work to create an end-to-end pipeline to load data by reading from multiple sources and loading to the landing layer or SQL tables
Establish the cloud connectivity between systems like ADLS, ADF, Synapse, Databricks or Axway
Conduct Requirement Analysis, Strategic Analysis, Software Development Fundamentals, Design, Development, Maintenance, Testing and Implementation of efficient data flow and batch processes in applications
WHAT YOU HAVE
Experience in TSQL programming along with Azure Data Factory framework and Python scripting
Experience in TSQL (MSSQL/SYBASE) code development, performance tuning, query optimization and extensive batch or ETL creation experience with better error handling
Hands-on experience in Azure cloud services like Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse, MSSQL Db, Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, or Blob Storage
Excellent understanding of relation transactional databases like MSSQL, Azure SQL and cloud-based frameworks like MS Azure
Strong knowledge of Extraction Transformation and Loading (ETL) processes using frameworks like Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or Databricks
BS in computer science or engineering degree or a related field or equivalent work experience required
