It's one part using analysis and statistical skills to create process efficiencies, one part utilizing organizational and people skills to support a fast-paced dynamic team dedicated to making things better for our fellow employees, suppliers, and customers, and one part helping the team develop Quality Science and critical thinking skills within a mature training and development environment.
This training specialist role supports the Continuous Improvement team within the Quality function. It includes the coordination and support of training efforts relating to Lean Six Sigma, Lean, and other Quality Science courses. The candidate will also provide general administrative support to the Senior Director of Continuous Improvement.
While reporting to the Lean Six Sigma Program Manager, the candidate will work closely with all levels of the organization across all Functions and Businesses to help drive Continuous Improvement across the enterprise.
Located in our Merrimack, NH training center.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Providing analysis using various data streams to make recommendations on departmental topicsSupporting the department on administrative mattersRecommending, interpreting, and/or implementing company and internal administrative policies and proceduresPerforming as a generalist in a combination of administrative tasks in a functional areaPreparing budgeting, project scheduling, and statistical reports as requiredDatabase maintenance and administration & website development and maintenanceEvent coordination and schedulingGeneral purchasing dutiesTraining coordination and primary point of contact for incoming students both internally and externally
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience or 8 years of experience in lieu of degreeMust have strong written and verbal communication skills and ability and desire to work effectively in a team-based organization across functionsMust be detail oriented, timely and thorough in responses and tasks to all levels of the businessExperience organizing/planning functions, events, classesExperience with MS Office, Teams and ConcurExperience with SharePoint sitesExperience with Web Design
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degreeWorking knowledge of Lean Six SigmaExperience with databases (Power BI, Tableau)Minitab or other Statistical SoftwareExperience with LMS software systems and coordination of training a plus
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $76450 - $130020
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
