Job Description
The Senior Training Specialist will partner with IES and BUs to drive training for hardware and applications. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise within CMD products to drive the overall training and E-learning content for FSEs and customers delivering the One Thermo Solution.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery of HPLC product training for IES teams globally at training locationsBuild technical training content (eLearning) to support field service and customers.Collaborate with Product Support Engineering for new product introduction training.Integrates the knowledge gained from field issues into the factory and field service knowledge repositories to build content and apply it to the knowledge base articles.Support the total Thermo system Solution in delivering product integration for our customersknowledge of HPLC, Mass spec, and operating software (Xcalibur, Chromeleon) required.Working with multiple Business units in driving work streams for faster, easier servicesParticipate in update and resolution meetings with the Product Support, engineering, and Marketing teams.Partner for new product introductions with design for service architects for ease of product serviceability.Flexibility in Traveling to Training sites to meet the demands of field service training as lead instructor. Travel over 50 percent or as needed to the training locations. Must complete Train the Trainer processes to instruct solo classes.Ability to install and re-install training equipment lifting up to 40 lbs.!
Education and Experience Requirements
Experience in Thermo Fisher HPLC and Mass SpecBachelor of Science degree: Chemistry or Science-related.Minimum of 10 years of technical experience, preferably in-service operationsLead projects accurately, effectively, and independently.Self-starter with a high level of motivation and strong interpersonal skillsDemonstrate instructional abilities (training).Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is the world leader in serving science, with annual revenue exceeding $35 billion. Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $92,900.00-$139,325.00.
