The Senior Technology Operations - Manager Data Instructional Design will support the development and execution of data culture as it relates to the overall Walmart data strategy. This individual will be responsible for Data Culture Awareness which plays a critical role in fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization. This role will involve leading the development, implementation, and management of programs and initiatives aimed at promoting data literacy and enhancing the organization's overall data culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive data culture strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic data goals and objectives.
Oversee the creation and delivery of engaging, timely, and relevant content for various internal communication channels, such as newsletters, intranet, emails, town hall meetings, and other employee engagement initiatives.
Collaborate with the data strategy team to ensure data literacy initiatives align with broader data strategy and objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, data analysts, and business intelligence professionals, to identify and address data culture gaps and opportunities within the organization.
Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success of data culture initiatives and regularly report on progress to senior leadership.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making.
Remain current on industry trends and best practices in data literacy and data culture and incorporate relevant insights into the organization's data culture strategy.
Champion the value and importance of data-driven decision-making and serve as a subject matter expert on data culture within the organization.
Act as an internal advocate for data culture, championing its importance and driving engagement within the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in developing and implementing internal communication and awareness campaigns
Strong understanding of data literacy concepts and best practices
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders Influence diverse audiences using customized communication and appropriate frameworks
Leverage fact-based data & analytics insights to build a cohesive narrative and present in a clear, concise and meaningful way
Demonstrate superior decision and coordination skills when faced with conflicting or ambiguous inputs
Become a trusted advisor to diverse stakeholders, influencing them to act on product/technology matters
Provide respectful, effective, timely feedback and seek, internalize, and utilize received feedback.

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities
Experience with data visualization and analytics tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
