Job Duties and Responsibilities
Position Summary
The Technical Program Manager drives complex initiatives associated with our 5G Wireless network. They work with architects and engineers to create and drive new products, services and technology. They mentor project managers and create project plans and status in accordance with DISH standards. They bring together cross-functional internal and vendor resources to deliver on project objectives. They also communicate project status in multiple forums to all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
Partner with internal and vendor architects and technical resources to design and document solutionsDevelop the program strategy for the 5G Waves and align to key business targetsEngage, problem solves, and communicates across the enterprise to drive successful program initiativesWork cross-functionally through the technical, business, and operational aspects of the programEstablish and advocate for the overall integrated schedule that aligns with the requirements from the cross-functional teamPartner with management, other program managers, technical leads, and business partners to develop achievable completion dates and prioritize projectsConduct financial review across the program and advocate for funding for business cases with critical needAnticipate resource needs based on program schedules and expected throughputCollaborates with team leads to develop resource requests, as neededConducts frequent program reviews with executive sponsors and business partnersQuickly escalate issues to partnering business groups or departments where support is needed and track for resolution and completionManages team dynamics across the program while providing coaching to fellow program managersDetermines appropriate methodologies and tools, ensuring program fitOversees reporting requirements, and creates monitoring and control mechanismsSkills, Experience and Requirements
Familiar with 5G Wireless ORAN technology Capable of assessing network architectural diagrams Minimum Bachelor's degree, ideally with a focus on Project or Program Management or relevant degreePMP Certification preferredRelevant Masters degree preferred5-7 years in a project, program, or delivery management roleAbility to establish trust and rapport with all levels of the organizationAbility to coach program managers that directly report into your organizationExcellent oral and written communication skills with ability to interact effectively with senior level executivesAbility to create and present executive level presentations summarizing the status of the program and summarize underlining projectsStrong negotiation/facilitation skills with an ability to gain consensusExceptional data analysis skills and the ability to share complex findings in an easy to understand presentation Experience planning and leading strategic initiativesAbility to facilitate solutions in a complex business environment and able to adapt quickly to changeSalary Range

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total
compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
