Serve as Technical Product Owner of a Prior Authorization application. Responsibilities include: Evaluating business and technical requirements; Prioritizing work; Preparing detailed functional and technical specifications for one or more scrum teams; Collaborating with Developers and Quality Engineers to ensure full understanding of requirements and design; Mentoring other Technical Product Owners; Working with all levels of the business to ensure that scrum team deliverables align with business requirements; Designing, developing, and managing activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life; Responsible for the full product lifecycle management, with a technical focus, including strategy, design, development, management, and end of life of new, existing or acquisition products; Leveraging market and customer insights to understand market/customer needs as well as emerging technology developments and trends to identify new opportunities or make adjustments to current product offerings; Balancing deep subject matter expertise in the product and business use cases with a strong technical aptitude; Ensuring optimal product performance to meet customer and market needs; Accountability for managing against a set budget; Responsible for cross-functional stakeholder management to include but not limited to design, engineering, scrum teams, business leaders, etc., functioning as technical expert with a fluency in development concepts and modern development practices; Conduct a work stream of projects in the given product area; Oversee communication across teams and business partners and manage dependencies; Establishes priorities and drives accountability for assigned initiatives, providing leadership to ensure solutions are designed, integrated and controlled to optimize effectiveness; and Works with key internal partners to distill complex concepts into programmatic and targeted solutions. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S. REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field and five (5) years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related computer occupation. Position requires five (5) years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in the following: Engineering, analysis, and product owner experience; Aha, Rally, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint; Product backlog management; Writing business requirements and user stories; Conduct refinement sessions with the scrum teams; LeSS Agile Framework; Healthcare technology; Creating technical artifacts such as case diagram, flow diagram, sequence diagram, or mapping documents; Technical skills including writing SQL Queries, reviewing the code and configs, and understanding DB structures; Quering Splunk logs; Triaging defects; Prioritizing backlogs to meet business goals; and Application design.
