[Company name] is looking for a Senior Systems Security Specialist to join our team in our Annapolis location. This role is potentially hybrid. This person will lead the successful execution of a variety of projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent time-management and problem-solving abilities who thrives in fast-paced environments.
This role will support all levels of projects and other efforts that include major information technology development projects, IT infrastructure support, strategic and operational information security activities, strategic planning, warehouse management and support, training, testing, and other program/project support.
Requirements:
A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in analysis and definition of security requirements.
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience leading or managing cybersecurity analyst teams including the review and approval of their work products and reporting to executive management.
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
At least five (5) years of specialized experience in defining computer security requirements for high-level applications, evaluation of approved security product capabilities, and developing solutions to Multilevel Security (MLS) problems.
Be a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Cyber Forensic Professional (CCFP).
At least two (2) years practical experience with implementing NIST CSF and/or NIST RMF including NIST 800-53 controls.
Specialized Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of successful project management experience in IT related cybersecurity projects that were delivered on time and on budget.
