Leidos is hiring a Senior Sys Admin for the AFNCR ITS NMCC at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA. TS/SCI is required; all work is onsite. Must have a strong technical network background to successfully manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects supporting the operations and maintenance, new engineering change task orders, technical refresh, new system improvement and modernization activities, and other major changes that occur.
Primary Responsibilities
Works independently to assure that all system operations are operational, and all engineering solutions are implemented successfully, from design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing systems; Analyzes design, specifications, and related documents; Must have demonstrated experience identifying, developing, and implementing engineering change solutions and new technology and solutions:
Demonstrated experience in all phases of a project lifecycle.
Demonstrated ability to work in a customer environment collaboratively through constraints to meet mission milestones.
Excellent written and oral communications skills and management to include presentation and experience discussing technology at large government and senior leadership level
Responsible for overall system engineering support for a broad range of programs including planning, designing, and evaluating various components. Duties may include providing specifications for system architecture, evaluating and recommending new technologies to enhance current capabilities, and performing needs assessments. Support level duties may include monitoring, installation, modification, testing and servicing of system equipment.
Install, administer, and maintain virtual environments and physical hosts, Windows servers, workstations, desktops/ laptops, etc., as part of the overall systems architecture across multiple networks.
Administer Active Directory services, member servers and storage, and integrate new technologies into new and existing systems.
Isolate and resolve complex hardware and software problems involving applications, operating systems, hardware, systems infrastructure, etc.
Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks; systems management including account monitoring, security, operating system installation, and other local area system administration related functions.
Utilize manual checks, GUI-based tools, and PowerShell to troubleshoot and remediate basic to complex systems hardware, software, and configuration issues on assigned systems, networks, and Active Directory.
Experience with implementation of Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG).
Experience writing/editing PowerShell Scripts.
Provide input to in-progress reviews on IT projects and maintain effective communications with government and other site leadership.
Ability to upgrade Windows Servers to new versions and plan, deliver, operate, and manage Microsoft server infrastructure solutions across multiple solution areas in a DoD environment.
Experience with Hyper-V (or VMWare), SCCM, DHCP and DNS.
Interface daily with all NMCC Leidos work centers to ensure up to date and accurate reports are provided to meet CDRL reporting requirements.
Basic Qualifications
Possess a current TS/SCI clearance
Current IA Certifications IAT Level such as Security+, CISSP, etc.
Typically requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
Experience working with ISSO/ISSE to ensure RMF compliance

Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
